it’s sick.
I am now deep into rehearsals for Just Cause, The Flea Theater‘s next production. This promises to be a fun one! You won’t want to miss me playing the feminist turned love-struck terrorist in this new, hip play.
From The Flea’s site:
“What is freedom, and how can I get some? JUST CAUSE is a subversive comedy that follows a group of young revolutionary Brooklynites seeking violent change. Armed with iPhones, handguns, and inherited ideals, these would-be terrorists are determined to find meaning—by any means necessary.”
Previews begin May 6th, opening night is May 19th.
Come see me in the first-ever reading of UNVILLE BRAZIL, a new musical by Patrick Shaw, produced by FullStop Collective.
This Wednesday & Thursday, December 1st & 2nd
8:00pm
The Drilling Company Theater
236 West 78th Street (at Broadway), 3rd floor
Suggested donation of $10 at the door
I sing. I play a mysterious narrator-type named The Stranger. I speak in an accent that does not exist yet. So…see you there!
Come see me in a new Brian Rady piece in Performancy Forum V at Surreal Estate – TONIGHT at 8:00pm!
The text of the play I’m in is taken from the anonymous medieval poem Pearl. Not to be missed + suggested donation only $5 AND $2 PBRs or BYOB. Wow!
A passerby posted two videos of me busking monlogues in Central Park!
You want to see this show. As much as I’ve meant it before, I mean it more than ever now: You’ve got to see this show.
Starting next week I will have the great honor of performing in Ground to Cloud, a giant shadow/light piece by Christine Marie. It’s indescribable, check out photos and video here and/or just come see it in person for yourself!
Purchase tickets here.
From the Facebook event page:
Experience a live expressionist film[/play] filled with madness, science, and love. Giant cinematic shadow theater, 3D and live performance combine to tell a love story based on lightning. A truly unique theater experience! Set to a live musical score.
